Who's Aurora?
Aurora holds both a bachelor's and master's degree from Berklee College of Music. She has performed Off-Broadway in addition to singing the National Anthem for several sporting events with crowds of over 20,000 people. She's is an Equity and SAG-AFTRA actress and loves to help people ignite their passion for music and find their best inner musician and performer!
The Vocal Studio of Big Swings & Big Dreams
I once had an improv instructor (shoutout Guy Stevenson) who told us that he wanted us only getting As & Fs - no middling Cs. That every time we got a chance 'at bat', we had to take a huge swing, as that's the only way to hit a home run.
That's always stuck with me and I try to bring it forward in my daily life and keep that philosophy baked into both my teaching and performing.
I believe in big swings both on the macro level of giant dreams that may be possible and on the more mircro scale of making big character or vocal choices. No one else in this world is you.
So, let's channel our inner Shohei Otahni to take big swings, letting all of our imagination and playfulness inform character and vocal choices as we find your unique style!

If you are a middle schooler or high schooler (or the parent of them) working on auditions for your school's theater season, or for specialized high school or college auditions, I absolutely was you. I understand the depths of which you care.
And I got into specialized high school. I lived and breathed performing arts. I led the only one-person musical my high school theater teacher ever put in the season in her 40+ year career, in addition to playing other leads in bigger shows. Then I got into my dream school (twice). And I've gone on to perform professionally as well.
So, if you want guidance in these early stages, I'd be more than happy to work with you!
And if you're an adult getting into community theater productions or just wanting to sing better at karaoke as well, I'd love to work with you too! When I say I take it as seriously as you do, I mean it. So if you want to be chill and incremental, and just here for a relaxed time, we'll chill. If you want to practice hours a day and live and breathe this, I'll go on that journey with you. I have a biiiiig range of intensity and emotions and am very confident in my ability to meet you wherever you are - and I hope I get the chance to meet you!
